240) as in and by the Said Recovery remaining on Record in the Provincial Court of this Province of Maryland at Annapolis relation being thereunto had more fully and at Large it doth appear To have and to hold Each and all of the Said Several Tracts and parcels of Land with their and Each of their Appurtenances unto him the Said George Maxwell his Heirs and Assigns forever to the only use and behoof of him the said George Maxwell his Heirs and Assigns forever and to no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the parties hereunto have Interchangeably Set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written Sealed and Delivered James Johnson seal In the Presence of J Hepburn Thomas Brouster seal Wil Lyon At the Foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit Maryland April 28.th 1758 Then Came before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the above named James Johnson and Thomas Brouster who acknowledged the above Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed and the above Lands to be the Right Title and Interest of the above George Maxwell his heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and Meaning of the above Instrument of writing acknowledged before J Hepburn |
