             On the back of the aforegoing Lease was thus indorst Viz.t

             Received the day and year within Mentioned of the within
       Named James Hutchins the sum of five Shillings Current
       Money being in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned
       to be by him paid to us                                          his
       Witness                                                        Philip P Conner
                   Edmund Key                                    Charles Conner
       Robert Alexander

       Sep.r 16.th 1757  Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Edmund Key and Robert
       Alexander and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God
       that they respectively Saw Philip Conner Charles Conner and
       James Hutchins Parties to the within Deed respectively Sign
       Seal and Deliver the Same as their respective act and Deed
       for the uses therein mentioned and that they did also see the said
       Philip Conner and Charles Conner respectively sign their names
       to the receipt endorsed on the within Deed for the sum of five
       shillings being the Consideration Money within mentioned and
       that they respectively subscribed their Names as Witnesses
       to the Execution of the Said Deed and Receipt

          Recorded the 28.th Sep.r 1757                     L Hands

Ex.d      This Indenture Tripartite made this Eleventh Day
       of August in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven
       hundred and fifty seven Between Philip COnner of Queen Annes
       County Planter Charles Conner of Queen Annes County
       aforesaid Planter and Mary the wife of the aforesaid Charles
       Conner of the first Part James Hutchings of Queen Annes
       County aforesaid Innholder of the Second Part and Thomas
       Johnson junior of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the
       third Part Witnesseth that the Said Philip Conner Charles
