705) the said Joseph Ensor his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns all or any of them unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs Executors administrators and assigns for ever will warrant and defend and the said Joseph Ensor doth for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators further Covenant grant and agree to and with the said Charles Carroll his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns that the said Joseph Ensor his heirs Executors or administrators shall and will at any Time hereafter at the reasonable request of the said Charles Carroll his heirs or assigns and at his or their proper Cost and Charges make do Acknowledge and perfect any other Instruement of Writing fore the Better and More Effecutal Conveying & assuring the Lott of Land afs.d with its appurtenances unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns for ever In Witness whereof the said parties have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written Sealed and delivered Jos.h Ensor seal in presence of us Tho.s Williamson Francis Fairbrother Maryland fs.t Rec.d 27.th March 1756 of Charles Carrol Esquire Councellor at Law the sum of Eighty pounds sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned I say received by Jos.h Ensor Witness Tho.s Williamson Francis Fairbrother Maryland fs.t On the 27.th March 1756 Came before me the Subcriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Joseph Ensor and acknowledged the within Deed According to the Directions of an Act of Assembly in such Caseds made and provided Rob.t Jenkins Henry Rece.d of Charles Carroll Esq.r son of Doc.r Cha.s Carroll one penny sterling for his Lordships Use (being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned Lott of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edw.d Lloyd Esq his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 6 s.d Recorded July 21.st 1756 Exam.d This Indenture Made this twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred fifty and six Between Joseph Ensor of Baltimore County in the province of Maryland Merchant of the one part and Charles Carrol of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundel County Councellor |
