       May the 31.st 1755   Then Received the sum of Fifty Nine Pounds
       Eight Shillings Sterling Money of England being the full Consideration
       Money for the within Mentioned Lands               Rich.d Snowden
       Test Rich.d Thomas

       On the thirty first of May 1755 Came before me one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provenshall Cort in the Province of Maryland
       the within Named Richard Snowden who acknowledged the within
       Instrument as ^to be his^ his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses
       therein mentioned to be the Right of the within Named William Waters
       jun.r his heirs and assigns for ever according to the True meaning
       of the within Deed and the Act of assembly in that Case made and
       Provided
                                    And at the same Time Came Elizabeth the Wife of
       the said Richard Snowden and she being Examined privately
       and out of the hearing of her said Husband Declareth that
       she releaseth her Right of Dower to the Land and Premisses
       within Mentioned and that she Maketh the same Acknowledgment
       willingly and Freely and without being Inticed thereto by fears
       threats or ill usage of her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure
       according to the Act of Assembly before Mentioned
                                               Taken and Acknowledged before me the
                                                Day & Year above Written

       June the 9.th 1755  Received of M.r William Waters jun.r Eleven Shillings
       and Eleven pence Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the
       Alienation Fine on the within Mentioned Two hundred and
       Ninety Seven Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from
       Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General
