       February 12.th 1755 Then Received of John Row Forty pounds Sterling
       in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned

                         On the 12.th Day of February One thousand Seven hundred &
       fifty five Colmore Beanes came before the Subscriber one of his Lordships
       Justices for the province aforesaid and Acknowledged the within
       Mentioned Lands and premisses to be the Right of the within mention'd
       John Row his and Assigns for Ever
                                           Acknowledged before                     J Hepburne

       Received of M.r John Row Eight Shillings Sterling for his
       Lordships Use (it being the alienation fine on the within mentioned
       two hundred Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward
       Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships agent and Receiver General
                                                                                     Rich.d Dorsey

Ex.d               This Indenture Made the Twenty ninth day of
       November in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and
       fifty four Between Thomas Jones of Frederick County in the province
       of Maryland Planter of the one part and Richard Snowden of
       Ann Arundell County in the same province Iron Master of the other
       part Witness^eth^ that the said Thomas Jones for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling to him in hand
       paid at and before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents
       the Receipt whereof he the said Thomas Jones doth hereby
       Acknowledge He the said Thomas Jones hath Granted Bargained
       Sold Alien'd Released Transferred and Confirmed and by these
       Presents Doth grant Bargain Sell Alien Release Transfer
       and Confirm unto the said Richard Snowden his Heirs and Assigns
       for Ever all that piece or parcell of Land commonly called or known
       by the Name of Jones's Chance Scituate lying and being in Frederick
       County af.d and Near to Snowdens River Containing thirty six Acres
       of Land be the Same More or less with all Trees Woods Underwoods
       and all and Singular the appurtenances to the same belonging
       or in anywise appertaining and all the Estate Right Title
       Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever Either in Law
       or equity of him the said Thomas Jones of in and to the
