505) the Day and Year above 6 sides Recorded Oct.r 30.th 1754 Geo Steuart Ex.d To all the Faithful in our blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to whome these Presents shall come Greeting To the Reverend M.r Whalter Chalmers Rector of S.t Marg.ts West parrish Charles Homewood sendeth Greeting Know ye that I Chares Homewood out of the Love Honour and humble Obesiance I owe unto my most Blessed Lord and Saviour have given to the Sole use and Behoofe of S.t Marg.ts Westminster Church and Chappel to the Rev.d M.r Walter Chalmers and his Successors for ever for the said Church and Chappels use all the Church and Chappel Utensels by me Given and in the Vestry House of the said Parish likewise and also all the repairs by me made to the said Church and Chappel and the finishing of the said parrish Chappel which I did and all things and Premisses by me thereto given from me and my heirs for ever in full and ample manner to and only for the said Church or Chappel or Vestry House use of S.t Marg.ts West.r Parrish or that may or shall at any time hereafter be given to the said Parrish Church or Chappel or Vestry House by me as allso all & every such repairs as have been made to any of them by me or shall hereafter be made or done by me at any time hereafter to have and to hold unto the said Rev.d M.r Walter Chalmers and his Successors Ministers of the s.d Parrish of S.t Marg.ts Westm.r to and only for the use of the s.d Church Chappel and Vestry House for eve And furthermore it is my earnest desire and request in Consideration of the great and manifold Blessings and tender mercies which it hath pleased Almighty god to bestow upon me, that as I am truly sensible of my Mortality here below, that the said Rev.d M.r Walter Chalmers and his Successors shall unto whom it shall please Almighty god shall happen to be my heirs and Successors of my estate which it hath pleased Almighty God of his great mercy to bless me with far above my deserts make publick to them when they shall arive to two Years of discretion these Presents and let them see it is my Earnest desire that they shall to the utmost of their power be aiding and assisting towardes the Welfare and Preservation of Christs holy Church hereon Earth and Give with a Good will and free Heart to the use of the said Church and Chappell and Necessarys requisite and all such Repairs as may be wanting thus giving Glory to Almighty God for all his Mercies to me and all men Wishing God will to all Men and the Preservation of the Holy Church and Protestant Religion In Faith and Testimony that the aforegoing is my Act and Deed I have hereunto affixed my Hand and Seal this Twenty Ninth day of October Anno Domini 1754 Sealed and Delivered before C W Homewood Seal Q D p p William Humphrys Jacob fields his David D Jones Mark his William H Sands 5 Mark Reco.d November 12.th 1754 |
