493) or any other Effectual ways or means as by the said John Tucker in his own Proper Person when Present within this Province or his Council Learned in the Law when the said Tucker shall be Present within this Province shall be Advised devised or required In Testimony whereof the Parties above mentioned to these Presents have Interchangeably affixed their hands and Seals this 9.th day of September in the Year of our Blessed Lord and saviour 1754 Sealed and Delivered before John Tucker seal Mary Wright his W.m + Sands M.r W Homewood seal mark On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) Sept.r 10.th 1754 Then came the within mentioned John Tucker and did Acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Goods and Chattles therein mentioned to be the Estate Right and title of the said Charles Homewood his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning thereof Recorded Sept.r the 19.th 1754 Jn.o Stevenson 5 3/4 Ex.d This Indenture made the Twenty Eighth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty four Between John Dagworthy of Worcester County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Edward Lloyd of Talbott County and Province aforesaid Esquire of the other part Whereas the said John Dagworthy by his Bond or Writing Obligatory bearing date the Twelfth day of March Seventeen hundred and fifty four stands bound unto the said Edward Lloyd in the Penal sum of Two hundred Pounds sterling Money of Great Britain Conditioned for the Payment of One hundred Pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Dagworthy as well for the Securing the Payment of the said Bond to the said Edward Lloyd his Executors and Administrators as for and in Consideratione of the sum of one shilling Sterling to him him in hand paid by the said Edward Lloyd before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof Clearly absolutely and fully Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said Edward Lloyd his Executors and Administrators by these Presents He the said John Dagworthy Hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Edward Lloyd and his Heirs all that Tract or Parcell of Land called Bashon Situate Lying and being formerly in Somerset County but now in Worcester County which said Land was granted to the said John Dagworthy by Pattent bearing date the fifteenth day of March Seventeen hundred and fifty four and all and Singular the Houses Buildings Orchards Fences and Gardens thereunto Belonging and also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Right Estate Interest Benefit claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said John Dagworthy of in and to all and Singular the Premisses and every part and Parcell thereof (To) |
