477) Sealed and Delivered (being first duly Stampt) in the Presence of Tho.s Askew Jn.o Thompson In Præmissorum fidem Seal Will Tudman Not.s Pub.s 1754 On the Back of the aforegoing Writing was thus Endorsed Viz.t Maryland fs.t On the Twelfth Day of July 1754 Came the within named Thomas Askew one of the subscribing Witnesses to the within Writing and made Oath before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland that he saw the within Peter Fearon sign seal and as his Act and Deed deliver the Writing for the Uses and Purposes therein mentioned and that he the said Thomas Askew at the same Time signed as a Witness thereto and saw the within John 9 3/4 Thompson also sign as a Witness thereto Sworn to before me Geo Steuart 10 sides Recorded July 13.th 1754 Ex.d To all to whom these Presents shall come Peter Fearon of London Merchant and Administrator of all and singular the Good Chattels and Credits of John Fearon late of the Parish of Saint Nicholas Acons London but at Sea Batchelor deceased sendeth Greeting Know Ye that he the said Peter Fearon as well for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings of lawful Money of Great Britain to him in Hand paid by Lancelot Jacques of the Province of Maryland (at present in London) Merchant the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge as for divers other good Causes and Considerations him hereunto moving Hath granted bargained sold assigned transferred and set over and by these Presents Doth grant bargain sell assign transfer and set over unto the said Lancelot Jacques his Executors Administrators and Assigns all and every the Debt and Debts Sum and Sums of Money Negroes Cattle Tobacco Goods Merchandize or Effects of what Nature or Kind so ever which now are due owing payable belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the said Peter Fearon in his own Right or as Administrator to John Fearon deceased from or in the Hands Custody or Possession of any Person or Persons whatsoever inhabiting or being in the Province of Maryland And all the Estate Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand of him the said Peter Fearon in his own Right or as Administrator to the said John Fearon (deceased) of in and to the same every or any Part or Parcel thereof To have hold ask demand recover and receive all such Debt and Debts Sum and Sums of Money Negroes Cattle Tobacco Goods Merchandize or Effects and all and singular other the Premisses hereby assigned meant mentioned or intended so to be and every Part and Parcel thereof unto the said Lancelot Jacques his Executors Administrators and Assigns to his and their own Use and Uses and as his and their own proper Goods Chattels and Estate for ever And for (the) |
