475) Act in that Case made and provided Geo Steuart Rec.d of Charles Carroll the Sum of Thirty six Pounds Ster the Consideration within mentioned June 17.th 1754 I say received P me Sam.l Read Witness Geoo Chalmers Daniel Bennett June 17.th 1754 Received of Doct.r Charles Carroll the Sum of One Shilling and a half Penny Sterling for his Lordships Use it being the Alienation Fine on the within Land by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 4 1/2 Recorded June 17.th 1754 Ex.d On the Twenty eighth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty four Before me William Tudman Notary and Tabellion Publick dwelling in London duly admitted and sworn and Witnesses personally appeared Peter Fearon of London Merchant and Administrator of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of John Fearon late of the Parish of Saint Nicholas Acon but at Sea Batchelor deceased Who declared to have revoked annulled and made void and by these Presents Doth revoke annull and make void a certain Original Procuration or Letter of Attorney by him given and granted on the third Day of May One thousand seven hundred and fifty three to George Clarke then in London late Agent to the said John Fearon (deceased) and him the said Peter Fearon in the Province of Maryland and that to all Intents and Purposes whatsoever as if such Procuration or Letter of Attorney had never been given or granted And also all such Power of Substitution as shall or may have been given or granted to any Person or Persons whatsoever by the said George Clark by virtue of the said Original Procuration or Letter of Attorney, And the said Appearer further declared to have ordained constituted authorized and appointed and by these Presents Doth make ordain constitute authorize and appoint Lancelot Jacques of the Province of Maryland (at present in London) Merchant his true & lawful Attorney Giving and hereby Granting unto his said Attorney full Power and lawful Authority for him the said Constituent in his Name in Right of himself or as Administrator of the said John Fearon (deceased) by virtue of the Original Letter of Administration under the Seal of the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury to him the said Appear given and granted and for his Use to ask demand levy sue for recover and receive of and from the said George Clarke his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns or any other Person or Persons whatsoever inhabiting or being in the Province or Maryland aforesaid the said Original Letter of Administration given and granted as aforesaid and all Papers Writings Letters Books fo Account Mortgages Bonds Securitys or other Things whatsoever any wise belonging to him the said Peter Fearon or to the Estate (of) |
