       to be my Chief Agent Escheator and Receiver General of all my Rents, Arrears
       of Rents, Fines, Forfeitures, Tobacco or Money for Land Warrants, Ferrys, Waifs,
       Strays, and Deodands, of all Dutys arising from or growing due upon Exportation
       of Tobacco or Tonnage of Ships and all other Moneys Tobacco or other Effects in any
       manner or ways now due or hereafter to grow due whether by Protested Bills of
       Exchange or otherwise to me within our said Province, hereby Granting to the said
       Edward Lloyd full power and Authority to sell and dispose of all Lands Tenements
       and Hereditaments to me now Escheated or Forfeited to such Person or Persons
       as shall Agree and pay for them such reasonable Rates in Money as shall be
       Agreed for with the Consent and Approbation of our Lieutenant Governor Also
       to Inspect into order manage and Account for all and every other Branch and
       Branches of my Duty Revenues within our said Province whether the same be or
       grow due by particular Contract Conditions of Plantation Act or Acts of Assembly
       or by Virtue of our Royalties Rights Priviledges and Prerogatives within our said
       Province, And for the better and more effectual Executing^on^ of the said Powers
       and Authoritys hereby granted I do further Authorize him the said Edward Lloyd to give such
       directions & Orders to the Naval Officers of our said Province (who by an Instruction formerly
       sent John Kent Esq.r then Lieutenant Governor were to be our Shipping Officers for the
       Receiving and Collecting our Dutys arising by Exportation of Tobacco as also the Duty of
       Tonnage of Ships) as he the said Edward Lloyd shall think fit and the said Shipping
       Officers are hereby required to obey him accordingly Hereby Ordering and Requiring
       him the sid Edward Lloyd to Remit unto me for my proper use by the first and safest
       Opportunity all such Moneys and Effects or Bills of Exchange as shall arise grow due
       or be received by or from our said Shipping Officers or any other Persons or all or any of
       the aforesaid Branches of my Revenues And upon Receipt of any Money Bills of
       Exchange or other Effects sufficient Discharges and Acquittances to give and sign to
       to the Person or Persons concerned or owing such Money Effects and Bills of Exchange
       And generally to Act do perform fulfill and accomplish all and every other Act & Acts
       Thing and Things requisite and necessary for the due Execution Performance and Justly
       Discharging the several respective Offices Powers and Authoritys hereby given or
       granted him or intended to be given and granted to him And I do hereby ratify
       confirm and hold for good effectual and valid whatsoever the said Edward
       Lloyd shall Lawfully do or cause to be done in the Premisses notwithstanding
