       be and enure and shall be Deemed Adjudged and taken and is meant and intended
       and by all the said Parties to these Presents is hereby declared to be and enure and
       the said Edward Tilghman and his Heirs from and immediately after suffering the
       same shall stand and be Seized of all and singular the Messuage Tenements
       Lands and Premisses above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the
       Appurtenances to and for the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Edward
       Tilghman his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other Use Intent or
       Purpose whatsoever   In Witness whereof the Partys to these Presents have hereunto
       interchangeably put their hands and Seals the Day and Year above Written

       15.th Sept.r 1753   Reced of M.r Edward Tilghman for the Use of the Right Honble
       the Lord Baltimore One Pound six shillings and two Pence ^half Penny^ Sterling being for the
       Alienation Fine of the within Lands                                       Benj.a Tasker

          This Indenture made this Sixth day of August in the Year of our Lord One
       Thousand seven hundred and fifty three Between Luke Philbert of Charles County in the
       Province of Maryland Planter and William Beck of the same County and Province
       Innholder of the one part and Francis Parnham of Charles County aforesaid
       Chyrurgeon of the other part Witnesseth that the said Luke Gilbert and William Beck for
       and in Consideration of the several Sums of five Shillings Current Money by the said
       Francis Parnham to them Severally in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and delivery
       of these Presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby Acknowledge and thereof and
       therefrom do hereby respectively Release Acquit and Discharge the said Francis
       Parnham his Executors and Administrators Have and each of them Hath Granted
       Bargained and Sold and by these Present Do and each of them Doth Grant
       Bargain and Sell unto the said Francis Parnham his Executors Administrators and
       Assigns All that Tract or Parcel of Plantable Land situate lying and being in
       Charles County aforesaid called Filberts Chance Containing One hundred Acres
       of Land more or less and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders
       Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every part thereof To have and to hold
