       his Heirs and Assigns to such Uses upon such Trusts and to and for such Intents
       and Purposes and with and under such Provisoes and Limitations as are herein
       after mentioned Expressed and Declared of and Concerning the same that is to say
       as to for and Concerning that Parcel of Land being the now Dwelling Plantation
       of the aforesaid Joseph Smith the Younger Beginning where Ephraim Govers line
       Crosses the Gravelly Spring Branch so running up the said Branch untill it comes
       to the Cool Spring Branch and then up the said Cool Spring Branch till it comes to
       a spreading Oak standing at the head of the Spring of the said Branch and then
       running North or Northerly to a Hickory near the head of a small Branch that maketh
       out of Pocosin and from thence the same Course to the East line of Gough's
       Purchase then West with the said Line to the end thereof and thence to the beginning
       to the Use and Behoof of the aforesaid Joseph Smith the Younger his Heirs & Assigns for ever
       And as to for and concerning the residue of the Premisses aforesaid to the Use and
       Behoof of the afd Joseph Smith the Elder for and during ^the Tenn^ his Natural life without
       Impeachment of or for any manner of waste and from and after the Determination
       of that Estate, as to for and concerning that Parcel being part of the said Residue
       Beginning at the Spring Branch opposite to the Mouth of the Lane where ^it^ now stands
       and has done for many Years and running thence with a South Course till it
       Intersects the West Line of the aforesaid Land called Goughs Purchase and
       running thence with the West Course down to a marked bound Oak standing
       in Harveys old Field and from thence with a streight line to the afsd Spring Branch
       and then with the Branch to the beginning which said Parcel of Land is part of
       Goughs Purchase and Smiths Chance being the remaining part of the Residue     
       aforesaid of the Premisses aforesaid to the Use and Behoof of the afsd Mordecai
       Smith his Heirs and Assigns for ever and as to for and Concerning all that Parcel of
       Land whereon the aforesaid Joseph Smith the Elder Dwells being the remaining
       part of the residue aforesaid of the Premisses aforesaid to the Use and Behoof of
       the afsd William Smith his Heirs and Assigns for ever And the afsd Joseph Smith the
       Elder doth for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant Grant and
       Agree to and with the aforesaid Joseph Smith the Younger his Heirs Executors &
       Administrators and Assigns and every of them that he the said Joseph Smith the
       Elder and all others Claiming or to Claim from by or under him shall and will at
       any time or times make do and execute or cause or procure to be made done and
       executed any such further or other Lawfull and Reasonable Acts Deeds or things
       for the better settling appointing Limiting and Declaring the Uses of the Recovery
       aforesaid according to the Intent ^end^ and Purpose above expressed and Declared
       of and concerning the same as by the aforesaid Joseph Smith the Younger his
       Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns or his or their Counsel Learned
