393) for ever, and to and for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said William Steuart for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said Benjamin Tasker Senior and Benjamin Tasker Junior their Heirs and Assigns that they shall and may from time to time and at all times for ever hereafter Quietly and Peaceably have hold Use Occupy Possess and Enjoy the said Premisses with the Appurtenances without any Claim Interruption or Demand of him the said William Steuart or his Heirs or any ^other^ Person or Persons whatsoever Claiming by form or under him or them, and that he the said William Steuart and his Heirs will Warrant and Defend the said hereby Bargained and Sold Premisses with the Appurtenances against all and every person or persons whatsoever Claiming by from or under him and them In Witness whereof the said William Steuart hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and Year aforesaid Signed Sealed and Delivered William Steuart Seal in the Presence of Sam.ll Galloway Geo Steuart On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t The Day and Year within mentioned Received of Benjamin Tasker Sen.r and Benjamin Tasker Jun.r Esq.rs the Sum of five Shillings Sterling in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by them paid to me I say Received P me William Steuart September 6.th 1753 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named William Steuart and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Benjamin Tasker Senior and Benjamin Tasker Junior according to the true Intent and meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided Geo Steuart 6 sides Recorded Sept.r 8.th 1753 Ex.d Maryland fs.t Know all Men by these Presents That We Edmund Jenings of the City of Annapolis Esquire John Ross and John Brice of the City afsd Esquires are hold and firmly Bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary of this Province of Maryland in the full and Just Sum of Three Thousand Pounds Current Money to be paid to the said Right Honble the Lord Proprietary and his Successors To which Payment well and truly to be made We and every of Us hereby Bind ourselves and every of Us our and every of our Heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and severally firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated this Sixteenth Day of August 1753 (The) |
