       Agrees to and with the said John Lamar Jun.r his Heirs and Assigns the afsd
       Sum of One hundred and thirty Pounds Sterling Money afsd and Interest
       thereon shall and will well and truly pay unto the said Benjamin Tasker when
       thereunto required In Testimony whereof the Parties to these Presents have
       hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Affixed their Seals the day and

       August 9.th 1753   Came the within named James Drain before me the Subscriber
       one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within
       Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within mentioned to
       be the Right and Estate of the within named John Lamar junior his Heirs and
       Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act
       of Assembly in that Case made and provided                           Jn.o Brice

Ex.d Frederick Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of
       Maryland and Avalon in America and Baron of Baltimore of the
       Kingdom of Ireland To Horatio Sharpe of the Parish of Saint James
       Westminster Esq.r And To all others to whom these Presents shall come
       and any ways Concern Greeting Know all Men That We in Consideration
       of our Regard and Affection which We bear to you Horatio Sharpe Esq.r
       and reposing special Trust and Confidence in your Loyalty Prudence
       Conduct and Fidelity Have Nominated Constituted and Appointed and
       with the Approbation of his most Sacred Majesty King George the Second
       Do by these Presents Nominate Constitute and Appoint you our said Trusty
       and Well beloved Horatio Sharpe Esquire Lieutenant General and Chief
       Governor of our said Province of Maryland in America, And also Commander
       in Chief both by Sea and Land of all the Forces raised or to be raised
       within the Limits of our said Province or the Islands Territories and
       Dominions thereunto belonging and over all such Forces to Appoint proper
       Officers, and them to Amove and Displace at your Will and Pleasure
       And further We do by these Presents Impower and Authoize you our
