380) Maryland fs.t July y.e 14.th 1753 Then Came the within named James Brooke and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Roger Brooke his Heirs Assigns for ever before B Young 5 Recorded July 30.th 1753 On the Back of a Patent to James Walker for Tract of Land called lying on the West side of Wiccocomaco River Containing three hundred Acres Dated the seventeenth day of August One Thousand six hundred fifty eight is thus Endorsed Viz.t Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that I James Walker Dowe Assigne all my Right and Title of this Pattean to Edward Philpot his Heirs or Assignes for ever as witnes my hand this 17 of february 1658 James Walker Witnes by Us The 7 mark of Robert hickes Daniel Johnson 1 side Cha to Benj Philpot Cha Ex.d This Indenture made the first day of February in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty three Between Thomas Bladen Esquire late Governor of the Province of Maryland of the one part and Benjamin Tasker Junior of the City of Annapolis in the said Province Esq of the other part Whereas the said Thomas Bladen Esquire by his Indenture bearing date the first day of December in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty six made or mentioned to be made between the said Thomas Bladen Esq by the Name Stile and Title of his Excellency Thomas Bladen Esquire Governor of the Province of Maryland of the one part and the said Benjamin Tasker Junior of the other part for the Consideration in the said Indenture mentioned did Grant Bargain Sell and Assign one full Moiety or half part of forty nine Acres and also one full Moiety a half part of a certain Vineyard Houses Outhouses and Improvements whatsoever then standing on the said Forty nine Acres to have and to hold the said several Moietys to the said Benjamin Tasker Junior his Heirs and Assigns as by referrence being had to the said Indenture among the Land Records of Ann Arundel County Court recorded may more fully appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth That the said Thomas Bladen for and in Consideration of the Natural Love & Affection which he hath and beareth in and towards his Nephew the said Benjamin Tasker junior and for and in Consideration of the Sum of five shillings Sterling by the said Benjamin Tasker junior to him the said Thomas Bladen in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Released and Confirmed and by these (Presents) |
