267) and by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain and Sell unto the said Edmund Jenings his Heirs and Assigns All that part of a Tract of Land called or known by the Name ofd Cammells Worth more Situate in Kent County containing by Estimation One Thousand Acres more or less with the Houses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or therewith Used and Enjoyed To have and to hold the same Land Houses and Appurtenances unto the said Edmund Jenings his Heirs and Assigns for Ever Provided Nevertheless That if the said Edward Neale his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns Do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Edmund Jenings his Executors Administrators or Assigns on the thirtieth Day of April which shall be in the Year Seventeen hundred and fifty eight the Sum of Two hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds two Shillings Sterling and the legal Interest which shall be due thereon at that time from the date hereof Then this Indenture and every Clause herein contained shall be Void and of none Effect to all Intents and Purposes, And the said Edward Neale for himself his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns Doth hereby Covenant Promise and Agree to and with the said Edmund Jenings his Executors Administrators and Assigns That he the said Edward Neale his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall and will pay or cause to be paid to the said Edmund Jenings his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid full and just Sum of Two hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds two Shillings Sterling on the s.d thirtieth Day of April which shall be in the Year Seventeen hundred and fifty eight And also shall and will Annually and every Year during the force and effect of this Indenture well and truly pay unto the said Edmund Jenings his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns Attorney or Attorneys in Fact the legal Interest which shall from time to time Accrue from the date hereof on the said Sum of Two hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds two Shillings Sterling at and after the rate of Six per Cent And also that he the said Edward Neale his Heirs Executors and Administrators shall and will Warrant and Defend the Premisses aforesaid to the said Edmund Jenings and his Heirs against all Persons whatsoever In Witness whereof the Partys aforesaid have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above Written Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Edw.d Neale Seal Geo Steuart Tho.s Johnson jun.r On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t April 30.th 1752 Received of Edmund Jenings Esq.r the Sum of two hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds two Shillings Sterling being the Consideration within ment.d £277 2 0 Sterl Witness Geo Steuart Th.s Johnson jun.r P me Edw.d Neale On the 30.th Day of April 1752 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named Edward Neale and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Edmund Jenings his Heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning 6 of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided Recorded April 30.th 1752 Geo Steuart |
