259) a marked Oak being the Bounded Tree of the Land of William Hemsly and running North fifty four Perches across the Cove to Christopher Dennys Land and with his Land East by North three hundred Perches to the said Hemslys Land and then with a Streight line to the first bounded Tree Containing fifty Acres of Land more or less And all one undivided Moiety or half part of that other Tract or Parcel of Land lying and being in Queen Annes County aforesaid on the red Lyon Branch being part of a Tract of Land called Shepherds Forrest Beginning at a marked red Oak near the Upper Road and running thence East South East One hundred Perches then South South West fifty Perches then West North West three hundred and twenty Perches then North North East fifty Perches then with a streight line to the first Tree Containing in the whole and laid out for One hundred Acres of Land more or less And one undivided Moiety or half part of that other Parcel of Land Containing One hundred Acres of Land more or less being another part of the afsd Tract of Land called Shepherds Forrest which was heretofore by Deed Sold and Conveyed by Francis Shepherd to the afs.d Edward Smith lying and being Adjoining and Contiguous to the aforesaid herein first before mentioned One hundred Acres of Land part of the same Tract called Shepherds Forrest and running Contiguous thereto according to the lines and Courses in the Original Patent thereof mentioned and expressed And all that other Tract or Parcel of Land Containing three hundred Acres of Land more or less being part of a Tract of land in Queen Annes County afores.d called Smiths Farm heretofore by Deed Granted and Conveyed by Robert Smith to the afores.d Edward Smith and by the same Edward by his last Will and Testam.t Devised to the same Ann his Daughter And all that other Tract of Land lying and Granted and Bargained several Tracts and Parcels of Land and unto each and every of them belonging or in any manner appertaining And all the Estate Right Title and Interest of them the same John Rogers and Anne his Wife and of each and either of them of in and to the same hereby Granted and Bargained several Tracts and Parcels of Land and of in and to each and every of them and every part of them and each of them with the Appurtenances and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders of them and each and every of them To have and to hold all and singular the afs.d herein and hereby Granted Bargained and Described or mentioned or intended to be hereby Granted and Bargained Tracts and Parcels of Land and each and every of them with the Premisses and Appurtenances to them and each of them belonging and Appertaining unto him the said Thomas Butler his Heirs and Assigns from the day next before the day of the date of these Presents for and during the Term of One whole Year from thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and ended to the Intent and Purpose and the better to Enable the same John Rogers & Anne his Wife to Grant Release and Convey all and singular the same herein and hereby Granted and Bargained Tracts and Parcels of Land with the Premisses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging and the Reversion and Inheritance thereof unto the same Thomas Butler his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the Uses Intents and Purposes and in such Sort and manner as the same John and Anne do intend shortly hereafter to Grant Release and Convey the same by Indenture intended to (bear) |
