        and are hereby declared by all the said Parties to these Presents to be and enure and the Recoveror
        or Recoverors named or to be named and his and their Heirs shall stand and be Seized of the said part of
        the Tract of Land aforesaid to and for the proper Use and Behoof of him the aforesaid Thomas Dashiell
        for and during the Term of his Natural Life and after his Decease to and for the Use and Behoof of the
        aforesaid Thomas Dashiell Son of George Dashiell as aforesaid and his Heirs and Assigns for ever
        and to and for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever Now this Indenture Witnesseth
        that the said Thomas Dashiell and Thomas Dashiell ^the^ Son of George ^Dashiell^ as aforesaid have given granted
        bargained and sold and by these Presents in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings to them in
        hand paid Do give grant Bargain and Sell the Premisses aforesaid to the said Lowther Dashiell
        his Heirs and Assigns for ever To have and to hold the said Premisses to the said Lowther
        Dashiell and his Heirs to and for the proper Use and Behoof of the aforesaid Thomas Dashiell
        for and during the Term of his Natural Life and from and after his Decease to and for the proper
        Use and Behoof of the aforesaid Thomas Dashiell the Son of the said George Dashiell as aforesaid
        and his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other Use and Intent whatsoever In Witness
        whereof the Parties above mentioned have hereunto respectively set their hands and Seals the
        day and Year above mentioned

        October in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand seven hundred and fifty ^and^ one Before me the
        Subscriber one of the R.t Honble the Lord Propry his Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland
        Personally appeared Thomas Dashiell of Somerset County Gentleman Thomas Dashiell Son of the
        within mentioned George Dashiell and Louther Dashiell partys to the within Written Indenture
       and respectively Acknowledged the same in due form of Law        Taken and Acknowledged the day
       and Year above   before                                                Rob.t Jenckins Henry

Ex.d This Indenture made the fourth Day of September in the Year of our Lord God One
       Thousand seven hundred and fifty one Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in the
       Province of Maryland Merchant of the one part and Nicholas Hackett Carew of Great Britain
       Baronet Mary Wightwick of the same place Widow Thomas Russel of the same place Merchant
       Osgood Gee of the same place Esquire John Price of the same place Merchant and Laurence Washington
       of the Colony of Virginia Gentleman of the other part Whereas the afs.d Charles Carroll by
       Articles of Agreement bearing date on or about the Eleventh Day of March in the Year Seventeen
       hundred and forty six and made between the aforesaid Charles Carroll of the one part and
       Ralph Falkner Edward Neale John Triplett and Charles Ewell of the other part did for the
       Consideration of Two Thousand five hundred Pounds Sterling with Interest at four Per Cent
