       hundred and twenty five Perches and from thence with a streight line to the said
       beginning Cedar Post Containing and laid out for One hundred and twenty four Acres
       of Land more or less to to the only Use and Behoof of the aforesaid Absolam Sparks
       his Heirs and Assigns for ever and as to all the rest residue and remaining part of the
       same Tract of Land called Brampton to the Use and Behoof of the afs.d Jane Wife of
       the same Ernault Hawkins and her Heirs and Assigns for ever and to no other Uses
       Intents or Purposes whatsoever any matter or thing contained in the said Recovery or
       Recoverys to the contrary notwithstanding In Witness whereof the Partys aforesaid
       to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Seals the day
       and Year first above Written

       The within Deed of Release Written            Mem.d the words four shillings & eight Thousand six
       on two sheets of Paper was sealed              hundred and eighty Pounds of Tobacco were
       and delivered in the Presence of                  Interlined between the Twelfth and Thirteenth

       Be it Remembered that upon the eighth day of August Anno Domini One Thousand
       seven hundred and forty nine personally appeared before me the subscriber one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named Ernault Hawkins and Jane his Wife she
       the said Jane being first Privately examined as the Act of Assembly in such Case made
       and provided directs and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and Premisses
       within mentioned to the within named Robert Hawkins his Heirs and Assigns forever
       to the Uses Intents and Purposes therein mentioned according to the form force and effect
       of the same Deed

Ex.d This Indenture made this fourth day of October in the Year of our Lord Christ
       One Thousand Seven hundred and forty nine Between Robert Hawkins of Queen
       Annes County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one part and Ernault Hawkins
       of the same County Planter and Jane his Wife of the other part Whereas the afs.d
       Robert Hawkins at a Provincial Court held at the City of Annapolis for the Province of
       Maryland on the third Tuesday of October in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven
       hundred and forty Eight did Commence and Prosecute against the same Ernault and
       Jane his Wife one Writ of Entry Sur Disseisin thereby demanding against the same
       Ernault and Jane all that Tract or Parcel of Land called Conquest lying and being in
       Queen Annes County afs.d Beginning at a marked red Oak marked with Twelve
       Notches three on every side standing on the south East and by East line of a Parcel of
       Land formerly laid out for Coll Henry Coursey called Courseys Point and running
       with the said Land South East by East four hundred Perches to a marked Cedar
