Ex.d To all to whom these Presents shall come The Right Honourable Frederick Lord
       Baltimore of the Kingdom of Ireland and Absolute Lord Proprietary of the Province of
       Maryland in America Sendeth Greeting Know Ye that I the said Frederick Lord
       Baltimore being of the Age of Nineteen Years and upwards and under the Age of Twenty
       one Years Have Chosen Nominated and Appointed And by these Presents Do Choose
       Nominate and Appoint the Right Honourable Arthur Onslow Esquire Speaker of the
       Honourable House of Commons and John Sharpe of Lincolns Inn in the County of
       Middlesex Esq.r to be Guardians of my Person Estate and Possessions untill I shall
       Attain the Age of Twenty one Years And I do hereby Authorize Empower and Direct the
       said Arthur Onslow and John Sharpe to do Act Execute and Perform All and every such
       Powers Authoritys Acts matters and things whatsoever for me and on my behalf and as my
       Guardians during my Minority as well in Relation to the Government and
       Administration of my said Province of Maryland as also to the Receipt Disposition and
       Management of my Estates Real and Personal in Maryland Great Britain and
       Ireland or else where as ^any^ Guardian can or may Lawfully do Act or Execute and that in as
       full and ample a manner as I myself could in case I was a Major and of full Age
       In Witness whereof I the said Frederick Lord Baltimore have to these Presents set
       my hand and Seal this thirteenth day of May One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty one
       Sealed and Delivered (being duly

       Hugh Hamersley of Lincolns Inn in the County of Middlesex Gentl maketh Oath and
       saith that he was present and as a Witness did see the Right Honourable Frederick
       Lord Baltimore by the Name and Addition of The Right Honourable Frederick Lord
       Baltimore of the Kingdom of Ireland and Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Province
       of Maryland in America seal and as his Act and Deed in due form of Law deliver
       and Execute to the Uses and Purposes therein mentioned and contained the Paper Writing
       hereunto Annexed bearing date the Thirteenth day of May One Thousand Seven hundred
       and fifty one and Purporting to be an Instrument under his Lordships hand and Seal
       whereby his Lordship hath appointed the Right Honourable Arthur Onslow Esq.r Speaker
       of the Honourable House of Commons and John Sharpe of Lincolns Inn in the County
       of Middlesex Esq.r to be Guardians of his Lordships Person and of his Estates and
       Possessions in Maryland Great Britain and Ireland during his Lordships Minority
       and untill he shall attain the Age of Twenty one Years or to that Effect And that he this
       Deponent as a Witness to the Sealing and Delivery thereof by the said Lord Baltimore
       did thereunto subscribe his Name as thereby it doth and may appear and that the
       Name of Ceecil.s Calvert the other Subscribing Witness thereto is of the proper hand
       Writing of the said Ceecil.s Calvert who is his Lordships Uncle as this
