       the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and forty six Nominate Constitute
       and Appoint the said Samuel Ogle Lieutenant General and Cheif Governor of the said
       Provinces of maryland and Avalon in America and also Commander in Cheif both
       by Sea and Land of all the Forces raised or to be raised within the Limits of the said
       Provinces or the Islands Territories and Dominions thereunto belonging and over
       all such Forces to Appoint Proper Officers and them to Amove and Displace at his
       Will and Pleasure and with such further and other Powers and Authorities as in the
       said Commission are Particularly mentioned and set forth as by the said Commission
       relation being thereunto had may appear And Whereas the said Charles late
       Lord Baltimore departed this life on or about the Twenty third day of April last leaving
       the said Frederick his only Son and Heir at Law who upon his said Fathers Death
       became Entituled to the said Provinces of Maryland and Avalon as Absolute Lord and
       Proprietary thereof And Whereas the said Frederick Lord Baltimore being an
       Infant under the Age of Twenty one Years but of the Age of Nineteen Years and
       upwards hath by Instrument in Writing duly Executed under his hand and Seal
       Nominated and Appointed us the said Arthur Onslow and John Sharpe Guardians of
       his Person and Estate and Particularly of the said Provinces of Maryland and Avalon
       And Whereas the Commission so Executed by the said Charles late Lord Baltimore
       appointing the said Samuel Ogle Lieutenant General and Cheif Governor of the said
       Provinces as aforesaid is Determined by his Lordships Death Now Know all
       Men by these Presents that We the said Arthur Onslow and John Sharpe In Pursuance
       of the Powers and Authorities Vested in Us as Guardians of the said Frederick Lord
       Baltimore and with the Privity Consent and Approbation of the said Frederick Lord
       Baltimore Testified by his Signing and Sealing of these Presents And for and in
       Consideration of our Regard and Affection which We bear to you the said Samuel
       Ogle and Reposing Special Trust and Confidence in your Loyalty Prudence Conduct
       and Fidelity Have Nominated Constituted and Appointed and with the Approbation
       of his most Sacred Majesty King George the Second Do by these Presents Nominate
       Constitute and Appoint you our said Trust and Wellbeloved Samuel Ogle
       Lieutenant General and Cheif Governor of the said Provinces of Maryland and
       Avalon in America And also Commander in Chief both by Sea and Land of all the
       Forces Raised or to be Raised within the Limits of the said Provinces or the Islands
       proper Officers and them to Amove and Displace at your Will and Pleasure
       And further We do by these Presents Impower and Authorize you our said
       Trusty and Wellbeloved Samuel Ogle to Call and Summon any General Assembly
       or Assemblys and them to Prorogue or Dissolve at your ^own^ Will and Pleasure And
       likewise in our Names as Guardians of the said Frederick Lord Baltimore
       but with the Advice and Consent of the Council and the Delegates of the Freeman
       in the said Province in Assembly Convened to make and Enact such Laws
