       Requisite and necessary for the facilitating Perfecting and Compleating every such sale
       and for the Conveying and Assuring the Fee simple and Inheritance of the same Lott or so
       much thereof as should be so Sold unto such Person or Persons as should become the
       Purchaser or Purchasers thereof and upon Executing such Conveyances for the use of the said
       Benjamin Nicholson to Receive and give Receipts for the Money to be paid as the Consideration
       of every such Sale And for the more Effectual doing and performing the Premisses
       the said Benjamin Nicholson and Samuel Nicholson did Jointly and severally further
       Authorize and Impower the said Samuel Ogle to Constitute depute and in his place and
       Stead put one or more Attorney or Attorneys and the same at his Pleasure to Revoke and
       other or others in his or their place or places to Substitute And Generally to do Execute
       perform and finish or cause to be done Executed performed and finished all and
       every such further and other Lawfull and Reasonable Act and Acts Thing and Things
       Device and Devices whatsoever which should or might be by the said Samuel Ogle
       thought Expedient and necessary to be done in and about the Premisses And the
       said Benjamin Nicholson and Samuel Nicholson and Samuel Nicholson did thereby
       Respectively give and Grant unto the said Samuel Ogle as full Power and Authority
       to Act and do in and about the Premisses to all Intents and purposes as if they were
       Personally Present to do the same Be it therefore known that he the said
       Benjamin Nicholson for diverse good causes and Valuable Considerations Hath made
       Ordained Constituted and Appointed and by these Presents Doth make Ordain
       Constitute and Appoint and in his place and stead put his Brother in Law
       William Temple of the Borough of Berwick upon Tweed in the Kingdom of Great
       Britain afs.d Esquire his True and Lawfull Attorney for him the said Benjamin
       Nicholson and in his Name and to his use to ask demand and Receive of and
       from the said Samuel Ogle all such Sum and Sums of Money as he shall from
       time to time Receive for the Sale of all or any part or parts of the Estate of the said
       Benjamin Nicholson lying in Maryland afs.d By Virtue or means of the above Recited
       Power Granted to the said Samuel Ogle for the purposes afs.d And upon Payment
       thereof or any part thereof Receipts Acquittances or other Proper Discharges in the
       Name of him the said Benjamin Nicholson to make and give for the same And Generally
       to do and Transact any other matter or thing for the Obtaining and Receiving the
       same to the use of him the said Benjamin Nicholson as fully as he himself could
       or might do if he were Personally Present he the said Benjamin Nicholson hereby
       Ratifying and Confirming and agreeing to Ratify and Confirm all and whatsoever
       his said Attorney William Temple shall Lawfully do or cause to be done in and
       about the Premisses In Witness whereof the said Benjamin Nicholson Hath
       hereunto set his hand and Seal the thirteenth Day of June in the twenty third Year
       of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain
       France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the Year of our
       Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and forty nine

       On the Back of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus Endorsed Vizt
       Signed Sealed and Delivered on Treble six Penny stampt Parchment in the Presence of us
           James Todd Luke Currie

       To which aforegoing Letter of Attorney was Annext the following Affidavit and Certificate Viz.t

       James Todd of the Borough of Berwick upon Tweed and Kingdom of Great Britain
       Gentleman maketh Oath that he was present and did see Benjamin Nicholson by the
       Name and Addition of Benjamin Nicholson of the Borough of Berwick upon Tweed in
       the Kingdom of Great Britain Brewer Sign Seal and deliver as his Act and Deed in
       due form of Law the Original Deed Poll hereunto annexed purporting to be a Letter of
