140) hereunto set our hands the day and Year above Written Recorded June 24.th 1751 P Whichcote W Hynson 7 Ex.d This Indenture made the twelfth day of December in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty Between the Right Honourable Charles Lord Baltimore of the Kingdom of Ireland of the one part and Ignatius Digges of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth That the said Charles Lord Baltimore for and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by the said Ignatius Digges at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Bargained and Sold and by these Presents Doth Bargain and Sell unto the said Ignatius Digges his Executors Administrators and Assigns All that Plantation or Tract of Land commonly called his Lordships Kindness containing by Estimation six Thousand and seven hundred Acres of Land be the same more or less And also all that other Plantation or Tract of Land called and known by the Name of the Several Tracts containing by Estimation two Thousand and five hundred Acres be the same more or less all which said Premisses are scituate and being in Prince Georges County on a certain River called Patuxen in the Proprietory of Maryland on the Continent of America and are part of certain land and Premisses Released and Conveyed by Henry Darnall late of Prince Georges County in Maryland af.d to John Hyde deceased the Father of a certain Samuel Hyde late of London Merchant deceased and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues & Profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof with their and each ^and every^ of their Rights Members and Appurtenances To have and to hold the said two Tracts or Parcels of Land and Premisses with their and each and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances unto him the said Ignatius Digges his Executors Adm.rs and Assigns from the day next before the date of these Presents for and during and unto the full end and Term of One whole Year from thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and ended To the Intent and Purpose that (by force and Virtue of these Presents and of the Statute for Transferring Uses into Possession) the said Ignatius Digges may be in the Actual Possession of the Premises and thereby be Enabled to take and accept a Grant and Release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs to and for such Uses Intents and Purposes as shall be therein expressed In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands & Seals the day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Baltimore Seal Benj Tasker Junior B Young jun Dennis Dulany (On) |
