106) Virginia Norfolk Borough I Durham Hall Esq.r Mayor of the said Borough do hereby Certifie that Henry Parr Master of the Schooner Tascar of Maryland lately cast on Seal Shore to the Southward of Coretuck Personally appeared before me and made Oath that the within is a Just and true Acco.t of what was saved from the said SChooner Given under my Hand and Seal this 20.th Day of October 1750 Durham Hall Mayor Registered in Town Book N.o B P Sam Boush j.r Town Cl 12 Recorded Decem.r the 8.th 1750 Ex.d This Indenture made this Seventeenth Day of October in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty Between Samuel Bonham of New Hanover County in the Province of North Carolina and Tamlinson his Wife of the one part and Henry Garrett of Johnston County in the afs.d Province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife for and in Consideration of the sum of forty six Pounds Current Money of the Colony of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Henry Garrett the Receipt whereof the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife do hereby Acknowledge and do Acquit and Discharge the said Henry Garrett his Heirs Executors and Administrators Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Assigned and sett over and by these Presents Do fully freely and Absolutely Give Grant Bargain sell Alien Assign and sett over onto the said Henry Garrett and his Heirs and Assigns forever All that Tract or parcel of Land lying in Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland called Carters Rest Containing five hundred Acres and being part of two Tracts of Land called The Expectation and lying in the Fork of Gunpowder River and also all Buildings Improvements Advantages and Appurtanances whatsoever to the said Tract of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders thereof To have and to hold the said Tract of Land and Premisses above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances unto the said Henry Garrett his Heirs and Assigns forever And the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife for themselves their Heirs Exors Adm.rs do hereby Covenant and Grant to and with the said Henry Garrett his Heirs and Assigns in manner and form following that is to say that the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife now is the true Lawfull and Rightfull Owners of all and Singular the Tract of Land and Premisses above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances And likewise that the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife is Lawfully and Rightfully Seized in their own Right of a good Sure Perfect and Indefeazable Right Estate of Inheritance in Fee Simple of and in all and Singular the said Tract of Land and Premisses above mentioned with the Appurtenances And further That the said Samuel Bonham and Tamlinson his Wife have good Right full Power and Lawfull Authority in their own Right to Grant Bargain Sell Alien and Assign over (all) |
