100) Lawfull Act as the said Peter Middlecalf his Heirs or Assigns his or their Council learned in the Law shall Reasonably Devise or Advise for the further and better Assurance Surety or Suremaking the Land and Premisses hereby Bargain'd & Sold unto him the said Peter Middlecalf his Heirs and Assigns for Ever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written John Digges Seal Signed Sealed and delivered in the Presence of us Mary Darnall John Darnall On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t November 28.th 1750 Reced of Peter Middlecalf fifteen Pounds in Gold and one Hundred and twenty Pounds Current Money the Consideration Money within mentioned P John Digges Novem.r the 28.th 1750 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court M.r John Digges Party to the within Deed and acknowledged the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Peter Middlecalf John Darnall Dec.r 1.st 1750 Reced of Peter Middlecalf nine Shillings and Eleven Pence 7 Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned Two hundred and forty Seven Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benja Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Recorded Decem.r 1.st 1750 Rich.d Dorsey Alienation fines and fees made out so far for the Year 1750 Ex.d This Indenture made the thirteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and fifty Between Lingan Wilson of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one Part and Daniel Carroll of Upper Marlborough in the said County and Province Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth ^that^ the said Lingan Wilson for and in Consideration of the Sum of Forty five Pounds Paper Currency of Maryland afs.d to him in hand paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully Satisfyed and contented and thereof and of every part and Parcel thereof doth fully clearly and Absolutely Exonerate Acquit and Discharge him the said Daniel Carroll his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns for Ever hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Daniel Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever All that Tract or Parcel of Land Situate lying and being in Prince Georges County afs.d called Kingsale formerly taken up by Jeremiah Suillivan Beginning at a Bounded White Oak (the Stump of which only remaining there is fixt a large Stone in the Hallow thereof by Virtue of a Commission for Proving the Bounds thereof) standing on the North side of S.t Charles Branch and near a Parcel of Land formerly laid out for Baker Brooke and from the said Oak running North Two hundred and four Perches to a Bounded Pockhiccory in the line of a Parcel of Land formerly laid out ^for^ Thomas Truman called Dear Bought Bounded by the said Land and Running West and by North for One Hundred and Sixty five Perches to a Bounded Gumm tree by the side of a small Branch and from thence running South for Two hundred and thirty four Perches to the side (of) |
