70) Maryland M.r Stephen Bordley of the City of Annapolis and Pursuant to the within Power of Attorney acknowledged the within Deed from John Gray of Fair Fax County in the Colony of Virgenia to Charles Carroll of the said City and the Lands & premisses therein mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the said Charles Carroll his heirs & assigns for ever according to the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Robert Gordon 3 1/2 Recorded May the 9.th 1745 Ex.d This Indenture made the third Day of May Seventeen hundred & forty five Between Christopher Gist & Nathaniel Gist of Baltimore County Planters of the one part and Robert North of the said County Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said Christopher Gist & Nathaniel Gist for & in Consideration ofd the Sum of three hundred & Sixty Eight Pounds Sterling to them in hand paid or Secured to be paid by the said Robert North at or before the ensealing & Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and confessed they the said Christopher Gist & Nathaniel Gist have granted bargained & Sold Enfeoffed released & confirmed & by these presents do clearly and Absolutely Grant Bargain & Sell Enfeoff release and Confirm unto him the said Robert North his heirs and assigns for ever all that Tract or parcell of Land called part of a Green Spring Traverse Lying in Baltimore Co.ty aforesaid and beginning at two bounded White Oaks being the beginning Trees of the Original Tract and Running thence East twenty p.s then North Eleven and a quarter degrees East ten p.s then West Eighty Seven p.s then West North (West) |
