69) premisses therein Bargained & Sold to be the Right & Estate of Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns for ever according to the Act of Assembly of the Province of Maryland In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & Seale this 5.th Day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and forty five his Sealed & Delivered in John I Gray the presence of Mark On the back of the aforegoing Charles Croxall Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t his William W Gist Mark Rec.d of Charles Carroll Sixteen Shillings Sterling an alienation fine on four hundred Acres of Land part of a Tract of Land called Buck Range in Baltimore County granted to John Faning being the Land within mentioned I say rec.d P me for use of the R.t Honourable Lord Propry this 9.th Day of May 1745 Benj.a Tasker May the 8.th 1745 Then came before Robert Gordon Esq.r one of the Justices of the Prov.l Court of the Province of Maryland Charles Croxall & W.m Gist Evidences to the within Deed & Power of Attorney & made oath on the holy Evangilist of almighty God that they saw the within named John Gray Sign Seal & Deliver the Same Deed & Power of attorney for acknowledgement thereof Sworn to before me Robert Gordon May 9.th 1745 Then came before Robert Gordon Esq.r one of the Justices of our Prov.l Court of the Province of (Maryland) |
