623) of the within named Edward Crow the Sum of forty eight Pounds fifteen Shillings Sterling being the full Considera.n for the within Named Lands and Premisses As Witness my Hand Test Thomas Hutchcraft Nicho.s Gassaway son Tho.s Memorand.m That the within Deed with the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned was before Us whose Names are hereunto Subs.d two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundell County the 19.th Day of August One Thousand seven Hundred forty and Nine and acknowledged by the within Named Tho.s Hutchcraft to be his Act and Deed and to be the Right of the within named Edward Crow his Heirs and Assigns for Ever and the same day and time came Hannah Wife of the said Hutchcraft and being Secretly Examined by Us out of the Hearing of her said Husband did freely Consent and give up all her Right Title Claim and Demand whatsoever of and in the said Lands and Premisses within mentioned without any fear or threats of her said Husband In Testimony whereof We have hereunto Subscribed our Names the day and Year above written Alex.r Warfield Son of Rich.d Nich.s Gassaway son Tho.s Sep.r 12.th 1749 Received of M.r Edw.d Crow four Shillings and two pence Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned One Hundred and four Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey |
