601) Be it Remembred that on third Day of December in the Year of our Lord God 1748 Came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Calvert County the within named Benj.a Mackall and Barbara his Wife and acknowledged the within written Indenture to be their Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the Right of the within named Benjamin Mackall Junior his Heirs and Assigns for Ever according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Indenture And at the same time the afs.d Barbara Wife of the said Benjamin Mackall being by us privately Examined did acknowledge and declare that she willingly and freely give up her Right Title and Interest of in and to the afs.d Land and Premisses unto the afs.d Benjamin Mackall Junior his Heirs and Assigns for Ever without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage by her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure In Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our Hands the Day and Year above written Ja.s Duke John Smith Calv.t Co.ty fs I hereby Certifye that James Duke and John Smith Gentl.m before whom the above acknowledgment was made are two of his Lordships the Lord Propry Justices of the Peace for the County afs.d In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Subscribed my Hand and Affixed the Seal of the s.d County the 22.d 6 Day of May 1749 Sam Harrison Clk Calv.t Co.ty Court Recorded 29.th May 1749 |
