                            This Indenture made this Twenty third
       Day of January in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven
       Hundred and forty Eight Nine Between Gideon Howard of Ann
       Arundel County Planter of the one Part and John Worthington of the
       same County Merch.t of the other Part Witnesseth that the said
       Gideon Howard for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Hundred
       and Sixty Nine Pounds Sixteen Shillings and Four Pence Sterling
       Money to him in hand paid by the said John Worthington at and before
       the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he
       the said Gideon Howard Doth hereby acknowledge and himself to be
       therewith fully Satisfied and paid and thereof and of every part &
       PSel thereof Doth Clearly Acquit Exonerate and Discharge
       the said John Worthington his Heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs for Ever by these
       Presents Hath Given Granted Aliened Bargained Sold Enfeoffed
       & Confirmed and by these Presents Doth fully Clearly & Absolutely
       Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe & Confirm unto the said
       John Worthington his Heirs & Assigns for Ever All that Tract or Parcel
       of Land lying in Prince Georges County called Whiskie Ridge now
       Resurveyed with the Vacancy added and Reduced into one Entire
       Tract and called Addition to Whiskie Ridge Containing in the Original
       and with the Addition added One Thousand and Sixty three Acres
       Beginning at three Bounded White Oaks standing on the South side
       and near the head of a Draught of the Piney Hill Branch descending
       into Lingan Ore Creek they being shewn for the Original Beginning Trees
       of Whiskie Ridge and running from the said Trees with the Original Tract
       South Seventeen Degrees thirty Minutes West Two hundred and fifteen
       Perches still with the Original Tract South Twenty one Degrees East
       forty four Perches still with the Original Tract South forty Degrees West
       Twenty Eight Perches still with the Original Tract West Thirty
       Perches still with the Original Tract North two Degrees West forty
       Eight Perches still with the Original Tract South Eighty six Degrees
       West Sixty five Perches still with the Original Tract South Seventeen
       Degrees West forty two Perches still with the Original Tract South
