       of Caleb Dorsey the Sum of One hundred and twelve Pounds
       ten Shillings Current Money being the Consideration Money

       September the twenty third Seventeen hundred and
       forty eight Came ^before^ Us the Subscribers Two of his
       Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann.ll County Richard
       Owings and John Grinef Howard and acknowledged
       the within Instrument as their Act and Deed and the
       Lands and Premisses within mentioned to be the Estate
       of the within mentioned Caleb Dorsey and at the same
       Time Came Ann the Wife of the said Richard Owings
       and Elizabeth the Wife of the said John Grinef Howard
       who being privately by Us examined and Out of the
       Hearing of their said Husbands relinquished their respective
       Rights of Dower to the within mentioned Lands
       and Premisses and declared that they did the same
       Willingly and freely and that they nor either of them
       were Compelled thereto by Fear or Threats of their
       said Husbands or Fear of their or either of their
