       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endors'd Viz.t
       Maryland fs Sep.r 28.th 1748 then Came before me the Subscriber
       One of his Lordships of the Provincial Court All the Parties to
       the within Deed who acknowledged the same to be their Act and
       Deed for the uses Intents and Purposes within mentioned

X.d This Indenture made the Twenty third day of September
       in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and forty
       eight Between Caleb Dorsey of Ann Arundell County
       Gentleman of the one part and Richard Owings of Baltimore
       County Planter and John Grenef Howard of Ann Arundell County
       Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the sid Richard
       Owings and John Grenif Howard for and in Consideration of
       the Sum of One hundred and Twelve Pounds ten Shillings
       Current Money to him in hand paid by the said Caleb Dorsey
       the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof
       and ^of^ every part and Parcell thereof do fully Clearly and
       Absolutely Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said
       Caleb Dorsey his Executors and and Administrators by
       these Presents And for divers other Good Causes and
       Considerations them thereunto moving they the said Richard
       Owings and John Grenif Howard Have Granted Bargained
       Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents
       do Grant Bargain Sell Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said
       Caleb Dorsey and his Heirs all that Tract or Parcell
       of Land called the Valley of Owing lying on the South side of
       the Main Falls of Patapsco River now in Ann Arundell
       County but formerly in Baltimore County Containing three
       hundred and Sixty one Acres which said Tract of Land
