484) Honestly and fairly Discharge the Condition of his Bond to the said William bearing equal date with these Presents and also satisfy and pay unto the said William Thornton his Heirs Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assigns all such Sums of Money or Tobacco as the said William shall pay unto M.r Henry Darnall of Portland Mannor, Mess.rs Randall and Sims or any other Persons on Account of the said John with legal Interest for the same then and in such Case this Deed of Bargain and Sale to be Void any thing in these Presents to the Contrary notwithstanding In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 26.th Aug.t 1748 his Signed Sealed & Delivered John I R Roberts Seal in Presence of Henry Darnall P Mannor John Darnall On the Back of the aforegoing Mortg.a was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) Aug.t the 26.th 1748 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named John Roberts and Acknowledged the within Deed and Premisses 5 to be the Right of the within mentioned William Thornton John Darnall Recorded Sept.r 12.th 1748 Ex.d This Indenture made on the 25.th Day of August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred forty and Eight Between John (Darnall) |
