Ex.d This Indenture made this Ninth day of June in
       the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and forty
       eight Between the Honourable George Plater of Saint
       Marys County in the Province of Maryland Esquire of the
       one part and the Honourable Benedict Calvert of the City of
       Annapolis in the said Province Esqu^i^re of the other part
       Whereas the said George Plater and the Estate of the late
       Honourable Charles Calvert Esquire deceased belonging to
       Elizabeth the now Wife of the said Benedict Calvert being
       both Creditors of Samuel Hyde late of London Merchant and
       on the failure of the said Samuel Hyde Attachments have ^in^ been Obtained
       out of the Provincial Court in Order to Attach the Effects of the said
       Samuel Hyde for Satisfaction of the af.d Respective Debts
       Whereupon it was Agreed between the said George Plater
       and Onorio Razolini Gentleman on behalf of the said Elizabeth
       then unmarried to share Equally whatsoever should be Condemned
       of the Effects of the said Samuel Hyde (that is to say) the said
       George Plater was to have one Moiety or half part and the said
       Onorio in the Right af.d the other Moiety or half part And
       Whereas on the said Several Attachments several Tracts
       of Land Negroes and other Effects were Condemned but in Order to
       Ascertain what portion of each should belong to either of the
       said Parties they the said George Plater Benedict Calvert and
       Onorio Razolini Submitted such Apportionment to the Decision
       & Determination of Edmund Jenings Esq.r who (amongst other
       things) thought fit Reasonable and Just and accordingly directed
       that a Tract of Land called the Hermitage containing eight
       hundred and Twenty three Acres more or less lying in Prince
       Georges County and Condemned at the Suit And upon the
       Attachment of the said George Plater should be Conveyed to
       the said Benedict Calvert and his Heirs with which said
       Determination the said Several Partys to the said Reference
