       within named before us two of his Lordships
       Justices of the peace for Kent County this tenth day
11 sides of October Ann Dom 1747

Ex.d This Indenture made this Ninth day
       day of October in the Year of our Lord Christ One
       Thousand Seven hundred and forty seven Between
       Richard Kennard of Kent County in the Province
       of Maryland Planter of the one part and John Watts
       of the same County Planter of the other part Witnesseth
       that the same Richard for and in Consideration of the
       sum of five Shillings Current money of Maryland to
       him in hand Paid by the said John the Receipt whereof
       is hereby Acknowledged and for divers other good Causes
       and Considerations him thereunto moving hath
       Granted Bargained and Sold and by these Presents
       Doth Grant bargain and Sell unto the same John
       Watts and his Assigns all that Tract or parcel of
       Land called the Exchange Scituate lying and
       being heretofore in Cecil County but now in Kent
       County af.d near the head of a small Cove called Collets
       Cove Runing out of Chirn Creek Begining at a marked
       Chesnut and Runing South East one hundred and
       fifty eight perches thence South West one hundred and
       fifty two Perches thence North West one hundred
       ^and^ fifty eight Perches thence North East to the first bounded
       Chesnut Containing by Estimation One hundred &
       fifty two Acres of Land more or less & all the Estate
       Right Title and Interest of him the same Rich.d
