326) Provided Nevertheless that if the said Henry Semans his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns do and shall on or before the fourth Day of July which shall be in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty eight pay or Cause to be paid to the said Edmund Jenings his Executors Administrators or Assigns the said Twenty one Ounces Eleven penny weight eighteen Grains of Spanish Gold with Legal Interest of Six per Cent for the Same from the Date hereof then this Present Indenture Shall be Void and of none Effect In Witness whereof the said Parties to these Presents have hereunto Set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written Henry Semans Seal On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst (Viz.t) Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presents of W.m Rogers Received the day and Year within mentioned of the within named Edmund Jenings the Consideration within Specified I say Received P me Henry Semans Witness W.m Rogers July 7.th 1747 Then Came the within named Henry Semans before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the Lands & Premisses therein mentioned to be the Estate Right and Title of the within named Edmund Jenings and his Heirs according to the purport thereof W.m Rogers 5 sides Recorded July 7.th 1747 Ex.d Maryland fs.t Know all men by these Presents that We Benjamin Young of Prince Georges County Esq.r and George Stuart of Ann Arundel County Gent Judges and Registers of (The) |
