       And Purposes as he the said William Roberts might or Could do if
       ^personally^ Present with to Substitute one or more Attorneys under him with like
       or Limitted power and the Same again to Revoke he the the said William
       Robert hereby Ratifying Confirmed and holding for Good and Valid all
       all and whatsoever my said Attorney or his Substitutes shall Lawfully do
       or Cause to be done in or about the Premisses by Virtue of these
       Presents In Witness whereof I have Sett my hand and Seall
       this first day of June Seventeen hundred and forty Seven

                In the Presense of
       Robert Gordon            On the Back of the aforegoing Power of Attry
       Zach Hood                  was thus Endorst (Viz.t)

       6.th June 1747  Then Came before me the subscriber of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court Robert Gordon Esq.r and Zach Hood
       the Two Subscribing Evidences to the within Power of Attorney and
       made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they saw
       the within named William Roberts Sign Seal and Deliver the within
       Power of Attorney as his Act and Deed

5 1/2 sides  Recorded June 8.th 1747


Ex.d      This Indenture made this 30.th Day of May in the
       Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred forty and Seven Between Joanna
       Croxall of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Widow of
       the one part and James Carroll Croxall of Baltimore County in the
       Province af.d of the Other part Witnesseth that the said Joanna Croxall
       for and in Consideration of the Natural love and Affection that she hath
       and do bear unto the said James Carroll Croxall as her Son as also
       for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred Twenty and Two
       Pounds Current money of Maryland to her already in hand paid and
       Secured to be Paid by the said James Carroll Croxall at or before the
       Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof the s.d
