301) Bordley and his Heirs and from and against all and all Manner of Persons claiming or to Claim by from or under him them or any or either of them shall & will Warrant & forever Defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Seals the Day & Year above Written Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Tho.s Bordley Seal T Bordley J Bordley On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t Reced the 3.d Day of June 1747 of and from the within Named John Brice the sum of Seventy Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned/ £70 Witness TBordley J Bordley Tho.s Bordley Be it remembered that on the third Day of June 1747 before me the subscriber one of His Lordships Provincial Justices Personally appeared the within Named Thomas Bordley who acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the Land & Chattels therein Mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the within Named John Brice His Heirs & Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed & the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided Robert Gordon Received (June the 4.th 1747) of M.r John Brice the Sum of seventeen Shillings & Six Pence half Penny Sterling for His Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned five Hundred and Seven Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r 13 sides his said Lordships agent & Receiver General Recorded June 4.th 1747 Rich.d Dorsey |
