Ex.d This Indenture made the Tenth day of February in
       the thirty second Year of the Dominion of the Right Honourable Charles
       Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Province of Maryland and
       Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore and so forth and the Year of our
       Lord God one thousand Seven hundred forty and Six Between John
       Cornwell of Worcester County in the Province of Maryland Planter
       Joseph Brittingham of the County and Province af.d Planter and
       William Franklin of the same place Planter of the first part
       and John Purnel of Worcester County in the Province af.d Gent
       of the second part and Samuel Wise of the County and Province
       af.d Mariner of third part Witnesseth that the said John Cornwell
       Joseph Brittingham William Franklin for the Docking
       Barring and Cutting of all Estates Tail and Remainders in
       Tail of and in the Messuages Lands and Hereditaments herein  
       after mentioned and for the Settling and Assuring of the same to and
       for the uses Intents and purposes hereinafter Limitted expressed &
       Declared and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Curr.t
       money of Maryland to them in hand paid by the said John Purnel
       the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and for diverse other good
