250) Reason whereof ^either^ We or our heirs may be Impeached hurt or prejudiced in our Royalties Jurisdictions Rights Titles Property or Interest of in and to our said Provinces or any Part thereof any thing herein before Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise Notwithstanding And Lastly We do by these presents Revoke Repeal and make Void all former Commission or Commissions formerly given or granted to any person whatsoever strictly comprending and requiring all Persons of what Degree or Condition whatsoever to pay ready and due Respect Submission and Obedience to our said Trusty and Wellbeloved Samuel Ogle Esquire as they will answer the Contrary at their Utmost peril Given at London under our hand & seal at Arms this third Day of October in the Twentieth Year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord King George the second and in the Thirty second Year of our Dominion over the said Provinces ^and^ in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred & forty six By his Lordships Command seal Baltimore Jn.o Browning secretary On the Back of the aforegoing Commission was thus Endorst This ^is^ Enrolled in the Remembrance of the Excheque of our present sovereign Lord King George the second at Westminster of the Twentieth Year of his Reign to wit among the Records of Michaelmus Term in the Year the Roll ^on^ the Kings rembrancers side these Arbuthnot 8 Recorded March 16.th 1746 ex.d This Indenture made the Twenty Seventh Day of March 1747 Between Thomas Barkley of Cecil County in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the one part and James Russell of Prince Georges County Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Barkley for and in Consideration of the sum of Two hundred & Eight Pounds Sterling Money (of) |
