       The aforesaid Insurance in any Legall manner ^he^ shall Endeavour
       for and Acquitances to give for the same and in Case of
       Nonpayment thereof to sue for arrest or Distress the said
       Insurers or underwriters who ever they are in as full and
       Ample manner as if I my self were Personally Present
       Witness my Hand and Seal to this Assignment of the said
       this twenty third Day of February Seventeen hundred
       and forty Six

Ex.d Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the provinces
       of Maryland & Avalon in America and Baron of Baltimore
       in the Kingdom of Ireland To Samuel Ogle of the Parish
       of Saint James in the Liberty of Westminster Esquire and
       to all others to whom these presents shall come and any
       ways Concern Greeting Know all Men that We in
       Consideration of our Regard and Affection which We bear to
       you Samuel Ogle Esquire and reposing Special Trust and
       Confidence in your Loyalty Prudence Conduit and Fidelity
       have Nominated Constituted and Appointed and with the
       Approbation of his Most Sacred Majesty King George
       the second Do by these presents Nominate Constitute and
       Appoint you our said Trusty and well beloved Samuel Ogle
       Esquire Leiutenant General and Chief Governour of our said
       Province of Maryland and Avalon in America and also
       Commander in Chief both by Sea & Land of all the Forces Raised or
                                  to be raised in the Limits of our said Provinces or
       or the Islands Territories and Dominions therunto belonging
       and over all such Forces to appoint proper officers and them
