       to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever and it is further
       covenanted concluded and agreed between the said Parties that the
       said Josias Slade and his Heirs the said Two Tracts of Land and
       all and singular the Premisses unto him the said Daniel
       Stansbury his Heirs and Assigns against all Persons whatsoever
       shall and will Warrant and Defend by these presents
       In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto
       interchangeably set their Hands & Seals the Day and Year first
       above Written
       Sealed & Delivered

       On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst (Viz.t)

       Received of M.r Daniel Stansbury Eight Shillings & six pence
       sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the Alienation fine on
       the within mentioned Lands supposing Curtis's Neck but two
       Hundred Acres and Slades Addition One Hundred & six acres)
       by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esquire
       his said Lordships Agent and Rece^i^ver General

Ex.d         Know all men by these presents that I Charles Carnan
       of London Merchant have made Ordained Constituted and
       appointed and b y these presents do make Ordain Constitute
       and appoint William Tiffin Mariner Commander of the
       Ship Lidia my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in
       my Name and for my Use to Ask demand and receive of &
       from all every person and persons who is are or Stand any
       wise Indebted unto me for or upon any Account whatsoever
       in Maryland or elsewhere in parts beyond the Seas and upon
       Nonpayment ^thereof^ the said several Debtors their and every of their
       Executors or Administrators for me and in my Name to sue
       Arrest imprison implead and Prosecute for the same
