235) Examined Privatly out of the Hearing of her said Husband did Acknowledge the Lands and Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Title of the said George Plater his Heirs and Assigns for ever and that she made such acknowledgment willingly and freely and ^without^ being induced thereto by fears or threats of or Ill Usage by her Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Acknowledged before and Certifyed by Recorded Dec.r 1.st 1746 George Bowles 6 A Barnes Ex.d This Indenture made this fifteenth Day of November One Thousand seven Hundred Forty & six Between Peter Youngblood of Prince Georges County Planter on the one part & Charles Carroll of Annapolis Chyrurgeon on the other part Witnesseth that the said Peter Youngblood for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty Two Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge Hath Given, Granted, Bargained, Sold, Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll all that Tract of Land called cat Tail Marshe scituate and being on the Drafts of Great Pipe Creek in Prince Georges County aforesaid Containing two Hundred Acres Granted to a Certain Michael Risener P pattent bearing Date the Eighth Day ^of^ February one Thousand seven Hundred Thirty and Eight according to the Courses therein mentioned and by the said Micha^e^l Risner Conveyed to him the said Peter by Deed bearing Date the Thirteenth Day of March one Thousand seven hundred forty and one & Recorded in Prince Georges County afores.d together with all & singular the Buildings Improvements & Appurtenances thereon or thereto in any wise belonging and Appurtaining to have & to hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns for ever to his & their proper Use and Behoof & to no other Use purpose or Intent whatsoever and he the said Peter Youngblood doth Covenant and agree with him the said Charles Carroll that he the said Peter & his Heirs shall & will from time to time & at all times hereafter Warrant and Defend the said Land and Premisses to him the said Charles (Carroll) |
