228) and Enure, that the said Thomas Sparrow and every other Person that shall be seised of the Premisses or any part thereof by Virtue of the said Common Recovery or Recoveries shall stand and be seised thereof and of every Part and Parcell thereof with their and every of their appurtenances to the ^only^ Use and behoof of the said William Hall his Heirs and Assigns & to no other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Partys to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above Written Sealed & Delivered in the Presence of W.m Hall of Elkridge seal H Darnall John Hall Lyons Creek seal E Dorsey Thomas Sparrow On the back of ^the^ aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst (Viz.t) Oct.r 6.th 1746 Received of W.m Hall Thirty Pounds sterling being the Consideration of my Moiety of the within Land & Premisses John Hall Ly.s Creek Witness Henry Hall Oct.r 6.th 1746 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace Ann Hall wife of John Hall one of the Parties within Mentioned who being Privatly out of the Hearing of her said Husband freely & Voluntaryly Acknowledged her Consent to the within Deed & relinquished her right of Dower in the within Land & Premisses and Declared that she did the same of her own free Will without the Compulsion of her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure John Darnall Received of W.m Hall three Shillings & seven Pence half Penny ster for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on a Moiety of the within Mentioned Lands Supposing the same to Contain Ninety Acres) by Virtue of a Commission from Benj.a Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships agent & Receiver General Recorded Oct.r 15.th 1746 Rich.d Dorsey 8 Vide recovery recorded in Lib E I N.o 10 fol 393 |
