121) his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns as by the said Hugh Parker or his Council learned in the Law shall thereunto be Advised or Required In Witness whereof the Said Nicholas Vaneman hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal the Day & year first above written Sealed & Delivered Nicholas Vaneman seal in presence of us Joseph Chaplins George Parker On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t Received of the within mentioned Hugh Parker the Sum of one hundred Pound being the Consideration for the within Land and premisses Test Nicholas Vaneman Joseph Chaplin On the thirtieth Day of October one Thousand seven hundred & forty five personally appeared before us the subscribers two of the Lord Proprietarys Justices of the Peace for Prince Georges County the within named Nicholas Vaneman & acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act & Deed & the Land therein mentioned to be the right of the within named Hugh Parker his heirs & assigns for ever At the Same time appeared Mary Vaneman Wife of the said Nicholas Vaneman & acknowledged the within Deed & her Right of Dower in the premisses hereby Conveyed and that she makes this acknowledgement freely & willingly without any fear or ill usage of her said husband or fear of his Displeasure Tho.s Cresap Joseph Chaplin 30 December 1745 Received of M.r Hugh Parker for his Lordships use four Shillings Ste.r being for the alienation fine of the within 7 1/2 Land recorded Dec.r 31.st 1745 Benj.a Tasker |
