119) Received of M.r Joseph Hill fifteen Shillings and one penny Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the Alienation fine on the Within Mentioned Lands) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 19 1/2 Recorded December 11.th 1745 Ex.d This Indenture made the Eighteenth Day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty five Between Nicholas Vaneman of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Yeoman of the one part and Hugh Parker of the City of Philadelphia in the Province of Pensilvania of the other part Witnesseth that for the consideration of the sum of one hundred Pounds Current money of the Province of Pensilvania by him the said Hugh Parker to the said Nicholas Vaneman well and truly paid before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he the Said Nicholas Vaneman Doth hereby acknowledge and from the same and every part thereof Exonerate Acquit and Discharge the said Hugh Parker his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns Have given granted bargained and sold Aliened Transferrd and made over and by these presents Doth give grant bargain Sell Alien transfer and make over unto the said Hugh Parker his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns for ever all that Tract or parcell of Land called Venemans Strugle containing one hundred Acres lying and being in Prince Georges County af.d as by the Patent thereby to the said Nicholas Vaneman dated the twelvth Day of December Seventeen hundred and thirty nine appears together with all rights profits benefits priviledges & appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining (Royal mines Excepted) (To) |
