       more Attorney or Attorneys under him to substitute and appoint
       and again at his Pleasure to revoke And further to do Execute Perform and
       finish for me and in my Name all and Singular thing and things
       which shall or may be necessary touching and Concerning the
       Premisses as fully throughly and Entirely as I the said William
       Campbell in my own Person might or could do in or about the same
       ratifying & Confirming and allowing whatever my said Attorney
       shall Do or cause to be done in the Premisses Provided always he
       make just Count Reckoning and Payment to me or my Heirs for his
       Intromissions with the forsaid Subject having sufficient retention for
       his Expences and a handsome Gratuity for his Pains and trouble
       hereby revoking annulling and making Void any Letter or Letters of
       Attorney by me heretofore Granted to any Person whatsoever before
       this Date In Witness whereof the said William Campbell have herto
       set my hand and affixed my seal together with the other Duplicate
       hereof made for preservation at Dumbarton fourth Day of December
       One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Eight Years and of the
       Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George the Second King of Great
       Britain &c the      Year before these Witnesses Charles Kirk Patrick
       Taylor in Dumbarton my Son in Law and Andrew Waddell Schoolmaster
       in Dumbarton ^Writer^ Witnes hereof And Robert Anderson Surgeon

       Andrew Waddell Witness         On the back of the aforegoing power of
       Charles Kirkpatrick Witness     Attorney was thus Endorst (Viz.t)
       Robert Boyd Witness            July 14.th 1739 Came Charles Kirkpatrick
                                           Evidence to the within Power of Attorney and
       made Oath on the Holy Evangelis of Almighty God that Saw William
       Campbell Sign Seale and Deliver the within Power of Attorney to
       Walter Williamson as his Act and Deed and at the same time he
       likewise said Andrew Waddell & Robert Anderson the other Subscribing
       Evidences Signe the Same as Evidences to the same Power who were
       requested thereto by the said William Campbell Sworn before me
       the Day & Year af.d being one of the Justices of the Lord Propry for
       Somerset County                                             Geo Dashiell
      
       July 14.th 1739 before us the Subscribers two of the Right Honble the Lord
       Proprys Justices of the Peace for the County of Somerset Came Robert
       Boyd ne of the Subscribing Evidences and made Oath on the Holy
       Evangelist of Almighty God that on the fourth Day of December last
       at the City of Dumbarton in that Part of Great Britain Called
       Scotland he saw M.r William Campbell of the Same Place sign Seal
       Execute and Deliver the within Power of Attorney as his Act and Deed
       & that at the same time he saw Charles Kirkpatrick sign the same as
       an Evidence in Testimony whereof We have hereunto set our hands the
       Day & Year above Written                                W.m Stoughton
