           On the first Day of September Anno Dom 1744 Personally
       appeared before the subscriber one of his Lordship's Justices of the
       Provincial Court William Harris and freely acknowledged the
       within Instrument of Writing made on Two Sheets of Paper
       to be his Act and Deed to and for the uses and Purposes therein
       mentioned

Ex.d This Indenture made this Thirteenth Day of September
       in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and forty four
       Between Samuel Wilson of Somerset County in the Province of
       Maryland Gentleman of the One Part and John Martin of
       Worcester County of the Other Part Whereas the same Samuel
       Wilson in September Term to with the second Tuesday of this
       Instant Sep.t being the Eleventh Day of the same month at a
       Court held at the City of Annapolis for the Province afs.d did Commence
       and Prosecute One Writ of Entry Sur Disseizin against the
       same John Martin thereby Demanding all that Tract or Parcel
       of Plantable Land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging
       Called Snow Hill lying and being on the Eastern Shore on a
       River Called Pocomoke on the South Side of the same River
