       Dallas and acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and
       Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of D.r Chas
       Carroll according to the Tenour of the same Deed

Ex.d On the Twenty Second Day of February in the Year of our Lord one
       Thousand seven hundred and forty three Before Me William Tudman
       Notary and Tabellion Publick Dwelling in London Duly admitted
       and Sworn and Witnesses Personally appeared Thomas Harper of the
       Parish of Saint Catherine Cree Church London Surveyor and Cecelia his
       Wife (who was formerly Cecelia Andrews) Elianor Horton of the Parish
       aforesaid Widow and Sarah Caulton of the Parish of S.t James Westminster
       in the County of Middlesex Widow Sisters to and Coheirs of the lands of
       John Andrews late of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland
       Planter deceased Which said appearers (in the Quality afs.d) Declared to
       have made ordained Constituted authorized and appointed ^and by these presents do make ordain constitute authorize and appoint^ Cap.t John
       Hunter at Present in London Mariner now bound out on a Voyage to
       Maryland their true and Lawfull Attorney Giving and hereby granting
       unto their said Attorney full power and Lawfull Authority for them the s.d
       Constituants in their names and to their use to grant Bargain Sell
       Assign Transferr Alien Release enfeoffe and set over by all Lawfull
       ways and means whatsoever all or any of the Lands Tenements and
       Plantations Stock Slaves Negroes Goods Chattles Estate and Effects
       whatsoever belonging and of Right appurtaining to them the said
       Constituants in the Quality afs.d to any person or persons whatsoever
       to and for the most and best Prices and Advantage their said Attorney
       Can get or Procure for the same And to that end to make Sign Seal duly
       Execute and Deliver all such Acts Deeds Writings Conveyances
       and Assuranances in the Law as shall be requisite and Necessary
       for the more effectual Assigning and Conveying the same and to
       appear at any Court or Courts in the Province of Maryland af.d
