          Alienation fyne and fees made out for the Year 1743

Ex.d Vide Deed to which to the following Acknowledgement
       belongs recorded before in this book in folio 419
       December 20.th 1743 Then Came before John Brice Esq.r
       one of the Provincial Justices of Maryland Allice Harryman
       the Wife of the within mentioned John Harryman
       & acknowledged the within Deed & being Privately
       Examined apart from her said Husband declared that she
       made the same Freely voluntarily & of her own accord
       without the Ill Usage or Compulsion of her said Husband or
       Fear of his Displeasure according to the Act of Assembly
       in that Case made & Provided
       Recorded Dec.r 20.th 1743            Jn.o Brice

                               This Indenture made this fourteenth Day
       of November in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred
       & forty three Between Walter Smith of the Freshes of Patuxent
       in Calvert County & Province aforesaid Gentleman
       Son & Heir of Walter Smith of the Freshes of Patuxent and
       County af.d Gentleman deceased of the one Part & Captain
       John Smith of the County & Province af.d Merchant of the
       other Part Whereas a Recovery was ^had &^ suffered in due form of
       Law in the Provincial Court of Maryland wherein the said
       John Smith was Demandant against the said Walter Smith
       Tenant for the Lands & Tenements hereafter mentioned Vizt
       All that Tract or Parcell of Land called Halls Craft lying in
       Calvert County af.d Beginning at the Mouth of Georges Creek
       & running up the Creek East two Degrees North the Original &
       the Resurvey saith East one Degree North but to the bounded
       Ash it's East Two Degrees North three hundred & fifty Perches and
       then with the main branch of the af.d Creek as followeth
       North Twenty Degrees East Sixteen Perches North Seven Degrees
       East Sixteen Perches North Twenty Seven Degrees East
       twenty four Perches North thirty three Degrees East Twenty
       four Perches North Twenty one Degrees East thirty four Perches
